A planned metrics, logs, and status layer for making platform health visible and turning operations into feedback loops.
The Observability Layer is a planned workstream for making platform health visible.
The first goal is not enterprise-grade monitoring theatre. The first goal is clarity:
- what is running;
- what is healthy;
- what is exposed;
- what needs attention;
- what changed recently.
The public notes will focus on patterns and decisions:
- lightweight metrics collection;
- dashboard design;
- service status reporting;
- alerting boundaries;
- public-safe reporting;
- observability as part of Infrastructure as Code.
Do not describe this as complete until implementation work actually lands.
