Project
OngoingLegacy DevOps
A modernization workstream focused on bringing build discipline, CI/CD, testing, documentation, and automation to legacy software environments.
Legacy DevOps is the work of making older software systems safer to change.
The focus is not a big-bang rewrite. It is the gradual introduction of engineering discipline around systems that already exist, already matter, and cannot simply be replaced overnight.
Topics include:
- reproducible builds;
- CI/CD pipelines;
- smoke tests and validation gates;
- dependency cleanup;
- release discipline;
- documentation and architecture recovery;
- AI-assisted analysis of large codebases.
The goal is to reduce operational risk while creating space for future modernization.
